When I first saw this horse against the dark green backdrop of the trees, it reminded me of a unicorn in a fairy tale. It was rainy and a bit foggy and the horse almost appeared to glow.

This is Big Ben, a beautiful solid black German Shepherd. He competes in agility and herding events. His human “mom” had lots of action shots of him from competition, but no portraits showing his big brown eyes. He is the best behaved dog I have ever worked with. My dog could take some lessons from Ben! :)

This is Rebel. He belongs to my daughter’s boyfriend. I think he’s the biggest cat I’ve ever seen. Apparently he doesn’t get a lot of exercise, but he does have pretty green eyes. :)

This is Bailey. She was sweet enough to pose for me at the dog park. She had two siblings, but they were more interested in chasing balls and sticks than getting a portrait taken. They must have been her brothers. :)

Ok, I’ll admit I didn’t take these today. It’s been a long, long day and I’m really tired……not a good excuse, but that’s my story! Since I didn’t have a new shot (that I liked) to post today, I thought I”d treat you to some remarkable cuteness. Sugar Lump is now six months old. I did a portrait session of her when she was three months old, and she has grown a lot for such a little puppy! Here is a sample of her six month portrait session that I recently shot.

This is Sadie. She was a guest at a friend’s house warming party. I took a few photos of her and her human mommy. I really like the look on her face in this one.
