About Alisa

I have been interested in photography since I was eight years old. My first camera was a toy, but it used real film! I took pictures of the mailbox, the trees, and just about everything else. When I was 10, I saved up my own money and bought my very first “real” camera, a Kodak Instamatic X15. I eventually traded my Kodak Instamatic for 35mm film, then later a digital SLR. I began shooting part-time in 2000. A part time hobby has become a full time love!

I have always enjoyed the magic of photography and have often been referred to as “the one with the camera” at gatherings of all types.  Not only does every picture tell a story, it also captures a moment in time. Years later, you can look at a photograph and instantly be taken back to that moment and relive the memory. Capturing those magical moments is my goal!

I have won several photography contests and been published in Shutterbug magazine, Nashville Chamber of Commerce publications, and Nashville Symphony Orchestra publications. My photography has also been used in several ad campaigns for Metro Nashville Airport Authority.

I am located in the Nashville, Tennessee area. I would love to meet with you and discuss how we can preserve the memories of the magical moments of your life. Please check out my blog for the latest specials as well as what I’m up to. Thanks for stopping by!
