This guy was on the driveway. I slid a piece of paper under him and put him on the car for the photo, then put him out in the ivy. I have no idea what kind of caterpillar it is, but it was huge.

This was a fine car in its day. It’s been sitting on the side of the road at a junk yard for years, how many years I don’t know, but from the looks of it, quite a few.

Today at 7:55 a.m. one of my daughter’s best friends had her second child, a beautiful baby boy named Lennon. He weighed in at 10 lbs. 2 oz. and was delivered by a scheduled c-section. He wasn’t due for another week! Mom, baby, dad, and big brother are all doing fine. I took a lot of photos to help document Lennon’s birthday. Here’s one of my favorites.

We’re starting to see the first signs of fall in middle Tennessee. Last week we had some wonderful fall like weather, but today the heat and humidity were back.
